Louise Mills and Laura McFadden attended Tora Judo Kai’s fundraising event in September and spoke to lots of their members about BAS and what we do – quite a few were wearing their BAS badge with pride.
When the final count from the fundraising day came in last week, Laura was invited to a self-defence class at Tora Judo in Pill with a cheque presentation. The class was a really interesting and challenging hour – not for the faint-hearted!
Laura asked Steve and Paul some questions about the work they do and found their outlook and approach to their club and members truly inspiring. You can read the interview here.
We feel really honoured at BAS that we were their chosen charity for their fundraising day this year and to raise £1800 for us is an amazing achievement. Thank you Tora Judo!
