Phone support service

Our members enjoy a wide range of benefits, including telephone support. We offer appointments for 20-minute advice calls with our trained volunteers, who are all parents of autistic children.  Our volunteers are all parents with at least three years of lived experience supporting an autistic child. This is a free service.

What can I ask about?

Our volunteers have experience and knowledge of the general issues facing parents of autistic children. General school issues, challenging behaviour, benefits, etc. They can answer general questions on these subjects. This is not a specialist support team trained in every area of autistic spectrum disorders. These calls are intended to provide an opportunity to get general advice and speak to someone who just ‘gets it’. For more complex or in-depth issues, please email us

Please use this form to book your call. Again, this is service is only available to registered members (click here to register). Your BAS member number can be found in your welcome email. If you can’t find it, please email us.

Once we receive your email, we’ll be in touch to with options for appointment days and times.
