BAS was founded in June 2012. Since then we’ve grown from two women meeting in a pub to over 2,000 parents, carers and autistic people. Wow!
We are the premier autism information and parent support provider in Bristol. We run a wide variety of support activities in and around the city.
Chosen charity / charity of the year
Please think of us when you are considering who your company will support with its charity of the year or chosen charity (for a particular activity) scheme. The money you raise goes directly towards helping parents of autistic children and will make a huge difference to the support we can provide.

Where could your money go?
£2 buys milk and biscuits for a meeting
£4 pays for one person to attend a support group meeting
£10 helps with our running costs, like our phone line, website hosting and insurance
£15 helps with printing of leaflets and schedules to help us reach more parents
£100 pays for a support group venue for two months
£200 pays for a workshop to help our parents learn new skills to help their children
We receive no local authority funding; all of our work is funded by donations from the public and from grants.
Every penny we receive goes directly towards supporting families with autistic children. In addition to helping us to pay for our existing services and activities, your donation will help us to extend our reach to help more families in the area.
Please donate today to help us continue, and to grow! Consider setting up a monthly donation through our Friends of BAS scheme.
