Bristol Autism Support (BAS) helped 3,904 individuals through 436 sessions in 2024-25 including support groups, family events, and one-on-one peer support.
The charity also launched new initiatives, including the popular Community Bookshelf and the BAS Podcast, furthering its mission to provide accessible information and support for families across Bristol and the wider South West.

The charity’s achievements in 2024/25 include:
- Our team delivered 1,144 one-to-one sessions with parents and carers.
- Our community meet up sessions were up by 56% compared with 2023/24; we supported 685 families at these groups, including the BAS Dads and Grandparents groups.
- Over 860 volunteer hours were delivered by our peer support volunteers.
- We supported 679 families through events such as sensory-friendly sessions, music therapy courses, and inclusive celebrations at local landmarks like the SS Great Britain and Bristol Aquarium.
